Noticing With Natalie
Connection is the channel through which life flows, and yet Western society runs on a domination-based worldview. This can make it challenging for people whose work and lives are devoted to healing and connection to speak their truths, market their offers, and put themselves out there.
Natalie Ross (she/her) explores how we can repair our capacity for connection, drop the facades we were told we had to wear, and stop hiding behind masks that once kept us safe but are no longer needed.
Whether you want to reveal more of your weird self in your everyday life, express yourself more transparently in your art, or attract more aligned customers in your business, subscribe for deep reflections and actionable insights that inspire your devotion to connection.
In her work with others, Natalie helps folks craft compelling offers, attract kindred customers, and confidently share their soul work with the world using a unique blend of somatic-based trauma healing, psychic development, animist perspectives, marketing know-how, and flexible structure.

Noticing With Natalie
I've been living in a cabin at the edge of a field + major life change
A major life change has me happier than I've been in a long, long time.
Mosquitoes, deer flies, and no-see-ums have ravaged my body with bites so itchy I've stopped trying to relieve the discomfort.
But they don't compare to the distress I left...

Hello and welcome to Noticing with Natalie. I'm Natalie Ross and you can learn more about me and how to work with me at natalienet. It is July 2024, and I've been living in a cabin at the edge of a field. It's a five-minute walk from power and plumbing and I can hear mice scratching in the walls at night. And I can hear mice scratching in the walls at night. Mosquitoes, deer flies and no-see-omes have ravaged my body with bites that are so itchy I've stopped trying to relieve the discomfort, yet I'm happier than I've been in a very long time, not because of the bugs, but despite them. They are a minor irritation in comparison to the distress I faced as my marriage fell apart earlier this year. It has been two months since I left forever. My story will be told in time, but for now I am reflecting on what feeds me. What do I really want and need for my fullest essence to thrive in day-to-day life? Why am I more alive now? Despite this seismic shift that has completely upturned my life In the last month, I've returned to the joy that shooting photo and video brings me.
Speaker 1:I have been filming the vibrant environment I've placed myself in. As events unfold, people come and go and time speeds up and slows. Telling stories, transmitting feelings and amplifying messages through moving images has me hooked on thinking about how to dig deeper into how to plant seeds of possibility. What can I scatter throughout the collective consciousness? Because when I tune into the news it's horrifying, like truly. It seems there's nothing good to hope for, no future worth giving ourselves to. It seems one's agency to impact the broader picture is a joke, and perhaps it is, I don't know. But I do know I feel called to contribute by sharing stories of people who are living differently than the mainstream narratives, ways where aliveness is present despite death, decay and challenges all around, where the paradox of it all isn't something to conquer but rather something to be present with and listen to isn't something to conquer, but rather something to be present with and listen to. I do know I want to continue to support individuals to disentangle knots of distress in their nervous systems that keep them from being present in the world as themselves and from showing up and contributing through their unique being and offerings. And I do know I can never go back to life as it was, and it seems that's happening for a lot of people right now. For me, it's time to be immersed in creating life based on what's emerging in the here and now, without trying to force it into any particular shape. So I'm curious as I gather inspiration and put together plans for my next steps, I'd love so I'm curious as I gather inspiration and put together plans for my next steps.
Speaker 1:I'd love to hear from you Whose worlds would you like an inside look at and what do you wonder about them? If I were to take my podcasting style into the physical and go visit people and ask them questions and document their lives who and what, where? What's going on? What would you love to witness? You can hit reply to any of my newsletters and let me know. You can sign up for my newsletter at natalienet. Or if you are not on my newsletter and don't want to be, that's fine.
